The blonde and I have had some significant changes in your lives over the last few weeks. With the loss of our son-in-law, our daughter and two of our grandkids have moved in with us.
Before that, we were living in a state of inside out. We were very focused on us and the things we were doing and needed to do.
With this change, we are adapting to a state of outside in. We need to be more focused on the needs of our daughter and our grandkids.
This has got me thinking about what is truly important in life and maybe I need to try and focus a bit more on others around me. When we serve, and serve selflessly, it creates a much better state of mind.
The great motivator, Zig Ziglar has a quote, “You can get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”
Duder’s Challenge
Think about this idea of inside out versus outside in. How are you living your life? Are you serving others or are you just serving yourself? Spend this week pondering this idea and find ways to serve those around you.
